Trombone Player
February 26, 2012
The next several shots [over the next few days] are of a trombone player at night in New Orleans, LA. Each image has been adjusted using digital software [mainly Color Efex Pro] to render a different type of image. For instance, DryBrush is a Photoshop Elements type of filter that makes a photograph seem to be painted with a dry brush [hence the name]. I like this photo as it is, but it was fun to work with it a bit to see what else it could be.

This winter has been pretty much devoid of snow, but last year's wasn't and this is from a snowfall last year, out on a farm in central Iowa. Of course, now that I've said it, we'll get a huge snowfall!

Shots from the Caribbean

I recently went on a cruise from southern Florida through the western Caribbean and some of the images were, to my eye, interesting, enlightening or good-looking, so will post a few every now and then.
This lst picture is of a bicycle on the dock in Key West [I just like to take pics of bikes]:
